Everyone knows how rough Emma's start on life has been, and how she will have leg lengthening surgery this summer. The surgery is scheduled for July 21st in Orlando, Florida. Having Estelle and getting confirmation from Dr Paley that we will have to stay there for at least 4 months, because we have to see him every week for check ups and it is just too far for me to drive every week with two girls. It has opened my eyes to just how much I can actually endure at one time. I chose my girls of course. I just can't juggle the store during the time of the surgery. My focus has to be on Emma.
I still will monogram, make all the stuff I have been making and more now that I will have more time before the surgery and when we get home, my website, and arts and craft shows. I really do think this is a blessing in disguise as are all hardship that we have faced. Somehow GOD helps us to face everything and then look back and think how did we do that. I don't know how I haven't had a melt down, because sometimes I thought I could have, but I've managed to take each hardship and make it somehow better. I think Emma will look at the situation when she gets older and be really proud of her MOTHER. I'm very proud of her for being so brave and enduring so much. I don't know how she does it with such a beautiful smile.
